Megalife Church
We are a newly planted interdependent Church in Tauranga, New Zealand in 2021. We are multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-generational with a strong love for God and love for all people and the Tangata o te Whenua O Aotearoa. We acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord and desire for the Holy Spirit to move in power in our meetings. We are passionate in worship expressed multi-culturally through music, song, dance and many different languages. We celebrate God’s goodness by sharing our testimonies and enjoy connecting in our gatherings with food and fellowship every Sunday Church Worship Service and Life-groups in the mid-week.
OUR FOUNDING PASTORS
Sammy and Meddy (Ma Imelda) have been involved in Christian Ministry in the Philippines for a number of years and both Alumni of Shiloh Bible Institute with a Dip in Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Studies, before coming to New Zealand in 1990 to undergo further studies at Faith Bible College in Welcome Bay, Tauranga where they graduated with a Dip in Leadership Course and Ministry Development. Meddy has a Degree in Bachelor and Science of Industrial Education with a Major in Home Economics. Sammy Graduated with a Dip in Architectural Drafting. They have a heart to reach out to the multi ethnic people groups in NZ, because of their strong calling for the nations. Presently residing in Tauranga, NZ with their two adult daughters, Shekinnah and Shenazzar.
They are the Founding Pastors of Megalife Church.
